It is alleged that the client stabbed his partner of 7 years in a ‘frenzied attack’ whilst his young children were present. The client and his partner were both known to the police for having a volatile relationship. The client told experts ‘an evil spirit’ told him to do it. Defence of diminished responsibility raised as client suffering from a psychosis during the attack.
