1.1 Tonne Drug Conspiracy Acquittal
Sue Caloe and JD Spicer Zeb’s Manchester office successfully represented a self-employed transport driver defendant charged with Conspiracy to Supply 1.1 tonnes of Cannabis resin, with an estimated value of £6 million. The defendant was acquitted after a four month trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court. Trial counsel Colin Wells of 25 Bedford Row, obtained a Defendants Costs Order on behalf of the acquitted client.
