Lisa is managing partner of the firm and head of the criminal department dealing with and supervising all levels of cases. Having specialised in crime and fraud since the start of her career in 2004, Lisa was admitted as a solicitor in 2007 and became a partner at JD Spicer Zeb in 2010.
Lisa is a highly dedicated and outstanding lawyer who deals with serious, complex and high-profile criminal cases throughout England and Wales. She has particular expertise with cases involving murder, sexual offences, drug offences and serious fraud.
With extensive experience representing clients facing criminal prosecution in the Crown Court, Lisa is highly skilled in handling difficult cases involving mental health, forensic and medical issues. She is known for meticulous approach and attention to detail in complex cases.
Lisa is also recognised for the emotional support she provides to the people she represents at what is often a very difficult time, as well as her sympathetic approach to vulnerable clients. Lisa is highly regarded by senior barristers and has worked alongside some of the country’s leading crime and fraud barristers in London, acting in several high-profile cases.
Alongside her own caseload, Lisa assists with management of the criminal department in allocating and supervising Crown Court cases within the firm and takes a leading role in training and supervising newly admitted solicitors seeking a career in criminal law.
Lisa a duty solicitor, regularly representing a wide range of clients at police stations and in court. She also holds the Higher Rights of Audience, allowing her to represent clients in Crown Court, the High Court and the Court of Appeal.
