About

Not Guilty - Importation of Drugs 2018

Our client was acquitted of conspiracy to supply 5 kilos of cocaine and 5 kilos of ecstasy. He had been arrested by police unloading the drugs into a secret compartment in his van. After two Juries were unable to reach a verdict a Judge directed his acquittal.

A co-defendant, who was separately represented ,had pleaded guilty to the same  conspiracy at the first trial. Our client denied the allegations and was acquitted of conspiracy to supply 70 kilos of amphetamines. He was arrested by police as he was moving the drugs into his flat. The co-defendant who delivered the drugs and was separately represented, was convicted. The case was thoroughly prepared by our serious case work team and a specialist barrister was instructed by this firm.
