Suspended Sentence: Conspiracy to Supply Class A - Birmingham Crown Court

Our client was charged with Conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and Converting and Transferring Criminal property.

Our client was alleged to have been part of major drug gang supplying drugs across Aberdeen. Our client was alleged to have been sending packages in the post containing quantities of cocaine. Our client is alleged to have laundered thousands of pounds of drug money through his personal bank account. His co-defendants received substantial custodial sentences.

We managed to convince the Prosecution that our client did not know what was in the packages when he was sending them, and they dropped the Conspiracy charges.

Our client pleaded guilty to Converting and Transferring Criminal Property and Participating in an Organised Crime Group. We put forward extensive mitigation outlining how the client has changed his life around since the alleged offences and secured him a suspended sentence.
