Not Guilty- Aggravated Burglary - Harrow Crown Court 2022

Our client was forensically linked to a hammer found at the complainant’s address which was used in a violent assault. He was charged with Aggravated Burglary/ABH & Possession of an Offensive Weapon. Stuart Lloyd and instructing counsel worked hard to identify inconsistencies with the various statements provided by the complainant throughout the trial process. During the trial itself Stuart obtained evidence via an audio recording which showed the complainant making threats about the client outside the Court which was then played before the Court.

The client, if found guilty was looking at a starting point of 10 years imprisonment. The jury unanimously found the client not guilty on all charges. The client was delighted with the result and is now able to re-enrol at university to finish his degree.
