County lines Drugs charge dropped

Malik Aldeiri represented J, a youth charged with county line drugs supply.

Malik was able to demonstrate by working with the single competent authority ( SCA) and the youth offending team (YOT) that he had been exploited and been a victim of modern slavery. Successful representations were then made to the CPS who accepted the defence evidence and subsequently dismissed the charges.

A conviction would have resulted in a prison sentence.
