S 18 GBH dropped - Bolton Crown Court 2022

Our client was charged with a s18 GBH after video footage showed an altercation in a parked car. The footage showed the victim stepping out of the car with a large laceration to his neck and bleeding profusely. Our client maintained that she only acted in self defence.

After being charged, we advised our client to enter a not guilty plea. We prepared thoroughly for trial and carried out through defence work. Due to ongoing communications and violence from the victim towards our client, our defence team was able to effectively make representations to the CPS for the charges to be dropped against our client.
