Not Guilty Child Cruelty - Wood Green Crown Court 2023

Our client faced an 11-count indictment alleging cruelty towards her three children over a 6-year period including allegations of numerous assaults and allegations that she had neglected their medical, dietary, and educational needs. The CPS relied on a substantial body of material including social service records, school records, and medical records. A considerable amount of time was spent analysing this material and preparing her defence including preparing a video and photographic evidence of the children showing evidence that they were healthy and well cared for. Following a 9 day trial, the Jury took just three hours to acquit her of all counts.
