Not guilty large drugs conspiracy Class A - Crown Court 2021

Our client was charged with conspiracy to supply class drugs with a total of 4 other defendants. The prosecution objected to bail at the magistrate's court and he was remanded in custody. Our experienced team made a detailed Crown Court bail application and our client was released on bail. We fought the case vigorously at the Crown Court trial and during the trial, the prosecution's case against our client was dismissed by the judge. Our team excellently prepared the case by reviewing thousands of pages consisting of telephone and other evidence. This demonstrated that our client was not an active participant in the conspiracy and was a mere bystander at the flat when the police raided. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time and having an excellent solicitor on board is essential. The prosecution was arguing that our client was involved in a significant role and had he been convicted this would have attracted potentially a prison sentence of around 10 years.
