Our Cases

Community Order- Voyeurism Highbury Corner Magistrates 2023

Our client was charged with 26 counts of Voyeurism whereby over a period of 18 months he had entered his local gym and filmed males whilst in the locker room unbeknown to them. The client was subject to notification requirements for previous convictions relating to indecent images of children and regularly had his phone viewed by police officers who noticed the videos and pictures.

Our client instructed JD Spicer Zeb on a private basis prior to his first appearance. All options were considered, and the client was advised to plead guilty at the first opportunity to ensure he would receive maximum credit.

The CPS put the case in Category 1 for sentencing guidelines with a starting point of 26 weeks custody and a range from 12 weeks to 18 months. Our team and instructed counsel successfully mitigated on the defendants behalf and he was made subject to a 24 month community order despite the number of offences and CPS categorisation.
