Indecent Images - Suspended prison sentence - 2021

We represented a man who pleaded guilty to possession of thousands of indecent images. The Images ranged from categories A, B, and C. He was able to meet with our senior lawyers pre-charge and advised about the benefits of early engagement with relevant services. He received full credit for his early guilty plea at court. The case was so serious that the starting point was a prison sentence in the region of 2 to 3 years however with the thorough and detailed preparation and representation we provided he received a suspended prison sentence with community-based requirements. We were able to demonstrate our client’s genuine remorse.
