Assault Police dropped Harrow Crown Court 2023

Our client was charged with assault on an emergency worker namely a police officer. The officer was injured following a larger incident of disorder. Our client denied the allegation as he was trying to defuse the incident. Our client admitted that he obstructed the police in the execution of his duty and he received a small financial penalty. The prosecution was persuaded by us to drop the much more serious offence of assault on the officer which would have undoubtedly resulted in a much higher penalty.
