Community order Drugs Supply - Southwark Crown Court 2022

We acted for a defendant charged with possession with intent to supply Class B drugs and possession of both Class B & C drugs in the Crown Court. The case was prepared by us and we instructed professional drug experts to anaylse the drugs to determine the grade of the drugs. The expert was able to establish the low grade and purity of the substances. We appointed a specialist barrister at the outset with expert knowledge of these cases to secure the best outcome. We demonstrated that our client had changed his life around and was a changed man. After successful mitigation, the defendant was placed in the lower category of ‘street dealing’ and was given a 12 month Community Order for all offences rather than a custodial sentence.
