Not Guilty ABH Willesden Magistrates Court 2023

Our client was charged with Assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He was alleged to have violently punched the victim 5 times and kicked him repeatedly. We argued that the assault did not take place and this was a false allegation. The victim had a small injury which was inconsistent with the violent alleged attack. Umar Zeb Senior Partner cross-examined the complainant and delivered a powerful closing speech to the justices. Our client was found not guilty by the magistrates. If convicted, our client faced an immediate custodial sentence.
